Visiting The COMAST Hough End Squad

I had the pleasure today of visiting the Hough End squad. Whilst this squad does belong to City of Manchester Aquatics team they train at Hough End Leisure Centre, rather than the Manchester Aquatics Centre (which most of our other squads train at). This means that we get very few interactions between my Pro Squad and these young kids. So, it was great to go and be a part of their training for the evening, assisting Coach Vinnie, and giving some stroke technique advice. These swimmers are right at the start of their competitive journey, so I feel as though it’s important to show them what other people in the club, who wear the same hats, t-shirts and other kit as they do, have achieved, to give them pride in their club and show them what is possible!
